I guess this was a failed experiment in separatism,
Not that we really had an ideology to begin with,
The exuberance of youth has once again failed to deliver,
This isn't meant to be an exercise in futility and cynicism,
Just a reflection of the effort that I too am guilty of neglecting,
This may trigger response, it may not,
This is more of a eulogy,
Though this sounds unnecessarily austere in nature,
It is every bit a reflection of my truth
